LONDON - Garry Cahill scored his first goal for Chelsea in the FACup game against Leicester City, last night. But according to him,then he was thinking of Fabrice Muamba who are still in critical condition, due to a heart attack.
Muamba Gary Cahill is a partner while playing together at BoltonWanderers. After the score against Leicester, Cahill opened his shirt and showed a message that read "Pray 4 Muamba".
"It's nice to score goals, but at that moment my mind waselsewhere," Cahill said as quoted by the official Chelsea website.
"Once you know what happened yesterday, I hope the best forFabrice. May he get well soon, "he added.
Muamba experienced events occur when dealing with TottenhamHotspur Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup quarter-finals. In the middle of the game, Muamba suddenly lost consciousness and the game was stopped.
"Of course it was not something that is expected when going through a game, but things like that can happen when you do the job," added the 26-year-old players.
