Diajang CES 2012 last week with a notebook on display much thinner and lighter designs from various manufacturers.The entire notebook is nothing but a specification-based Intel Ultrabook.
Quoted by Digitimes , Wednesday (01/17/12), AMD also intends to launch a similar product, is rumored it will release a competitor Ultrabook in June 2012.
The report says that AMD will offer a platform called Ultrathin Trinity and its products. The difference with Intel, AMD is more focused to produce a notebook with a thin and lightweight design with a price range of 10-20 percent lower than Intel Ultrabook.
AMD also expects the company well-known PC makers like HP, Acer and Asus will participate in this project Ultrathin notebook.
However, AMD seems to lose quickly in this market, as predicted 75 types Ultrabook will come to market in 2012 compared to AMD's notebook it only has 20.
If this did occur then the market is thin and lightweight notebook will be increasingly diverse, notebook makers also think that with the launch of AMD Ultrathin it will be able to cut costs is greater when compared with Intel Ultrabook.
