Opponents Newcastle, Arsenal Ready to Prove Consistency

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, said that the team had tomaintain consistency to finish in the top four Premier League thisseason. Consistency will be tested on Arsenal match againstNewcastle United on Tuesday (3/13/2012) morning, in the PremierLeague.

Arsenal have found consistency in recent weeks. They were able towin four of five matches in the Premier League, including a victoryover the "Spurs" and Liverpool. However, it is not easy for 'The Gunners' win again because, according to Wenger, Newcastle is one of the team that has offensive power.

"Newcastle are a team that has offensive power. So, a good defense would be needed by the team. Been a long time we couldnot achieve good results after being awarded a similar outcome," said Wenger as reported Soccernet.

"But, we were able to score seven goals against Blackburn, fivegoals against Tottenham, and three goals against AC Milan, andthey all are a good team. Overall, we've got the form of the game because our confidence is rising," he said .

At the first meeting both at St James Park, the score ended goalless draw with colored incidents between Gervinho and JoeyBarton. At that time, Gervinho get a red card from referee. However, for now, if Gervinho and Wenger believes his team-mates atArsenal would be prudent to address it based on the experience they have, although Wenger was disappointed with the incident.
