Madrid - Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho expressed his sympathy for Barcelona defender Eric Abidal. In such situations, he said, all the team did not make any difference.
Mourinho said in a press conference on Saturday (17.03.2012),ahead of the game against Malaga on Sunday night.
Abidal was recently sentenced to back up the operating table toundergo a liver transplant. Previously he was freed from the livertumor that had sidelined him for a long time in the season.
"We're all together Abidal. If there is public support tomorrow, my team will participate in it," said Mourinho was quoted from the official website of Madrid.
"There was no difference in the team when things like this happen.This young man deserves a fantastic life as she had done so muchfor this sport. He should be proud of it.
"He is still a long way. Hopefully he can play ball again. If this problem can not play him anymore, I pray for her hopefully long lifeand happiness."
